If they had fewer resources than you did, fewer casting points, etc, then they would not have been able to deal with the spell onslaught any more than they would be able to deal with an army onslaught. It depends on how strong the AI was to begin with. But it seems that if the two players are balanced with spell casting power a Rogue could just keep casting Incite Revolt, and Guild of Thieves and bring their enemies to their knees. ![]() I imagine a human would spend their effort disjucting a little smarter, such as getting rid of Scrying Eyes so I can't cast spells anywhere I want. If you've got the mana power and enough troops to defend yourself, is it really this easy to take a player down with just Rogue spells? So I figured I'd ask the more experienced here. I killed a few stacks of heroes and he surrendered soon after. I expected some retaliation, but nothing. In just a few turns it more than doubled my income and over 3/4 of his troops deserted (or were dismissed). I first put Incite Revolt on his capital, which distracted him trying to disjunct it, then all I did was put Guild of Thieves on the rest of his cities first. I charged incite revolt, and declared war. I cast Age of Deception and Scrying Eyes then boosted them all the way. I owned 3/4 of the map and had a sorcerer AI left. I've been practicing rogue lately and after looking through all their spells my last round I wondered how much damage they could all do. I have taken a heavy blow from Age of Deception before, but it wasn't too bad to disjunct because the AI is easy to distract by casing offensive spells on their cities. ![]() ![]() I've only used them lightly so far, usually because my games are over before I've researched them all.
